Hi Ed, after seeing the article in the Times Herald a little while back about your distinguished Citadel group I thought you like to know a fellow grad is coming to Newnan. John Warley, a native South Carolinian, is a 1967 graduate of the Citadel. He was a classmate and team mate of author Pat Conroy, and they still enjoy meeting once a week for lunch. John will be here for Newnan Carnegie Library's fundraiser, Southern Litfest 2015, as one of the Best of the New South Authors. His novel, *“A Southern Girl”,* was selected as one of Southern Living’s Five Best Summer Reads. The weekend begins on Friday evening, June 5th with a* Progressive Bourbon on the Porch Tour *in the  Greenville/LaGrange historic district. John has assured us he is looking forward to that. He will host an informal discussion of *A Southern Girl* at 1:30, Saturday, in the ceremonial courtroom of the old courthouse followed by a book signing.
